I can be of little assistance with media monkey. Try highlighting the files in explorer and right click. There may be an option to play or enque in media monkey. You may have to go into windows and change your file association from itues. I can't remember at the moment the steps. Also, I'm sure there is a way to load files from media monkey. Just have to play around. If you end up converting the files, save the flac files. Lossless is a bit of a learning curve, but once you get it you'll be grateful you saved your original files.

Thanks, Blue...

I've gotten as far as getting the trax into mediaMonkey, so they're there....haven't "converted" anything yet so they're playing--i assume--as flac files....if I can get them in that form onto a CD i'm golden.

It's as you say a matter of tinkering w/MediaMonkey and seeing what I can thing i've noticed is that they have an EQ box you can call up that allows you to raise/lower diff. levels of sound quality, so I can enhance the bass, for example, and save those changes if I want.

either way, it seems the sound quality of the zip file I DL'd is quite sweet (THANK YOU again for making this incredible show available in that form)...and i'll try my best to keep the flac files while getting them in that form onto a CD i'll guard and cherish always!
